I’m Mark Lightner III, a proud Brevard County native, a husband, a father, and a conservative fighter who’s had enough of career politicians playing musical chairs with our future. While they make backroom deals and serve themselves, I’m stepping up to serve you. I’m not here for a political career—I’m here to bring real leadership, real integrity, and real results to Florida’s Senate. No games. No compromises. No excuses. It’s time to put Brevard first.

EMPOWERING OUR YOUTH
It’s time to expose our youth to alternative paths to success—whether through vocational training, apprenticeships, or other college alternatives. By doing so, we’ll build a more robust workforce ready to tackle Florida's future challenges.
FIGHTING POLITICAL CORRUPTION
We need to implement term limits to keep politicians accountable and ensure fresh perspectives in government. Limiting the influence of PACs will reduce special interest power and return control to the people of Florida.
THE INSURANCE CRISIS
The high cost of home and auto insurance is crippling Florida families. We need to pass meaningful legislation to lower these costs and give Floridians the financial relief they deserve.
GUN RIGHTS
We must fight to legalize open carry in Florida, allowing law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and their families. It’s also time to repeal the flawed gun regulations passed in 2018, restoring the rights of Floridians to keep and bear arms without unnecessary restrictions.
STANCES
I believe that every life is precious and deserves protection. I am proudly pro-life and will always stand for the rights of the unborn.
I am a full supporter of the Second Amendment. While I appreciate hunting and sport shooting, the true intent of the Second Amendment is to empower citizens to defend themselves against a tyrannical government and preserve their freedoms.
- Florida’s 2018 gun control law stripped law-abiding 18, 19 and 20-year-olds of their Second Amendment rights, allowed firearms to be seized without due process, and added a 3 day waiting period. I will write/sponsor bills to fully repeal this unconstitutional law and restore the right to self-defense for all legal adults.
- Florida is one of the few states that still bans open carry, restricting law-abiding citizens’ ability to exercise their full Second Amendment rights. I will write/sponsor bills to legalize open carry, ensuring Floridians have the freedom to bear arms without unnecessary government restrictions.
I support strong border security because a nation without secure borders cannot protect its citizens or maintain its sovereignty. We must enforce our laws by stopping illegal crossings and humanely deporting those who enter unlawfully.
I support President Trump’s commitment to America First policies that prioritize our economy, national security, and sovereignty. He has fought to bring back American jobs, reduce reliance on foreign nations, and put the interests of our citizens above globalist agendas.
