PRIORITIES
Keep Florida Affordable
The Challenge
Families and retirees across Brevard are feeling the squeeze. Property insurance premiums continue to rise, housing costs are increasing, and everyday expenses stretch household budgets further than ever before. Florida should remain a place where working families can build stability and retirees can live securely — not a state where affordability feels out of reach.
The Solution
Florida must focus on meaningful insurance reform, responsible state spending, and reducing unnecessary regulatory costs that drive prices higher. By strengthening market stability, protecting fixed-income residents, and keeping government growth in check, we can restore affordability and long-term financial confidence for every generation.
Responsible Growth & Infrastructure
The Challenge
Brevard County is growing rapidly. Without thoughtful planning, growth can strain roads, infrastructure, water systems, and emergency services. Unchecked expansion risks traffic congestion, flooding concerns, and declining property values.
The Solution
Growth must be matched with infrastructure. Smart investment in transportation, water management, and flood mitigation will protect neighborhoods and property values while keeping communities strong. Development should enhance quality of life — not overwhelm it.
Strong Schools & Workforce Readiness
The Challenge
Students deserve an education that prepares them for real opportunities — whether that means higher education, skilled trades, or entering the workforce directly. Families want strong academic standards and the ability to choose the educational environment that fits their child’s needs.
The Solution
Florida must protect school choice, strengthen academic standards, and expand career and technical training pathways. Education should graduate students ready — ready to work, ready to pursue further education, and ready to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Tackling Crime & Public Safety
The Challenge
Public safety is the foundation of every thriving community. Law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency responders face increasing demands, while families expect neighborhoods to remain safe and orderly.
The Solution
Florida must support law enforcement and first responders with the resources and respect they deserve. Clear policies that protect families and maintain public order ensure Brevard remains a secure place to live, work, and retire.
Accountable & Transparent Government
The Challenge
Taxpayers expect government to operate efficiently and ethically. When spending grows without clear outcomes or campaign practices reduce public trust, confidence in government erodes.
The Solution
Florida should prioritize responsible budgeting, measurable performance standards, and modernization of outdated systems. Strengthening transparency in the campaign process and public reporting will help ensure government remains accountable to the people it serves.
Space
The Challenge
Florida must stay competitive in workforce development, infrastructure, and regulatory stability to remain the national leader in commercial and defense space operations.
The Solution
Support aerospace workforce pipelines, protect defense and space industry jobs, improve transportation infrastructure around launch facilities, and ensure Florida remains the best state in the country for space innovation.
Term Limits
The Challenge
Florida has term limits — but they do not apply over the lifetime of an individual. Politicians can rotate between offices and remain in power for decades.
The Solution
Support strong lifetime term limits that apply to the life of a person. Reinforce the principle of a true citizen legislature, where representatives serve for a defined period and then return to private life. Leadership should be about service, not permanence. This keeps government accountable, fresh, and grounded in the real-world consequences of the laws it passes.
Indian River Lagoon
The Challenge
Algae blooms, nutrient runoff, septic leakage, and stormwater discharge have damaged water quality, harmed wildlife, and threatened tourism and property values.
The Solution
Advance water quality restoration projects, septic-to-sewer conversions where appropriate, stormwater infrastructure upgrades, and accountability in environmental spending. Protecting the Lagoon protects property values, small businesses, and our quality of life.
